I am really considering just swearing off any games from major publishers. I will buy used, but I will not be buying anything digital or DLC. I doubt I’ll ever buy a new console again. I can’t support anything MS, Sony or Nintendo are doing.

I feel that. It's just... It's so hard to like this hobby. Feels like everything has been an exercise in disillusionment. With everything that happened in the past month, I just went, "fuck it, my level of trust in any given game is now directly tied to how much control I have over the files."
Can't trust central servers, can't trust publishers not to go full stupid with their ecosystem accounts, can't trust corpos to let developers cook in peace, can't trust Nikita Buyanov very specifically (I am cursed to be a Tarkov fan), can't even trust your game will even remain in your damn account.
Just waiting for the penny to drop at this point. I feel like something is gonna happen but I don't know what or when.
