My new video on Counter-Strike: Condition Zero (specifically the kinda-cancelled but kinda-still-released version from Ritual Entertainment) is now available!

Over about 50 minutes, I critique the 12 main levels of the campaign, discuss the background and further work of each level designer on the project, and also detail Valve's messy, inexcusable handling of Condition Zero's development.

If you enjoy, please consider sharing it with a friend, subscribing to my channel, or even supporting on Patreon.

Today is to be a rest day, but work is already underway on a longform retrospective on Midnight Club: Los Angeles...

I'm wrapping up work on a video about Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, specifically the single-player-focused version developed by Ritual Entertainment.

Many of Ritual's level designers got their start in the 90's as bedroom DOOM and Quake mappers. I expect to spend much of tomorrow digging for their levels, but these games aren't really my area of expertise, and I don't even know where to start looking. If anyone knows of good archives/resources for old usermade levels or, by chance, knows these guys' work in particular, I'd appreciate any guidance!

I don't necessarily need the files (though that would be cool!), footage is okay.

Names and handles of people I'm looking for:

Luke Whiteside aka weasl

Russell Meakim aka TheCastle1

Thearrel McKinney Jr aka Kiltron2

Richard Gray aka Levelord3

Todd Rose aka Mr.CleaN

Chris Voss aka kanaeda
