yep same. i think im just gonna make a 2nd account and just follow my fav artists on there
(i already curate my timeline a lot because i use the tweet notification feed as my home feed, but still, twitter is twitter, might make an alt only for art)
oh yeah i just have twitter on my 2nd email and gmail filters out the social media ones perfectly and i have - checks no- i mean emails - 3.4k unread emails in that folder lol
For what it’s worth, I’m not getting this. I did get a lot of “here’s why wizard game sucks worse than you thought”, among other controversies, but only the tweets on the side of the argument I want to hear. Sure I’ll see “transphobic law passed somewhere” or “politician said something hurtful” but it’s not like that’s actually a Twitter thing, and what I see written about it is kind, if exhausted and scared.
I’ve pretty much left the site though. The clients dying means I never touch it on mobile, and the website is breaking in half. It’s just barely worth the “oh hey this person is probably on Twitter and I’d like to say something to them” urges I sometimes get.
