kata 🌊 aqua!

so this is the second time i’ve had isshido! the first time was delivery during the blizzard in march, i got the spicy tan tan ramen, it was super good but it was delivery so it was, y’know, fine. my partner got the tomato ramen which is just insanely good and convinced me to go again this time.

and this time we went in person and FIRST OFF it’s like three times as good in person, when the ingredients are fresh and prepared together rather than separate for delivery. SECOND OFF the spicy miso is absolutely the winner here, the black garlic oil elevates it like crazy, the chasu is incredibly tender and flavorful, kae-dama is absolutely a must because the noodles are just fucking perfect, just. not a single thing wrong with this. only change i’d make is get the onsen egg like my partner did because holy fuck the yolk just made the already rich broth even richer. good as hell.

isshido has become a must for when i visit MA. if you live here it should be part of your routine.
