could yโ€™all comment with mask recommendations? something better than a typical KN95/N95, comfy and easy to wear with glasses? and, preferably, something that comes in black?

discordโ€™s going to be at GDC again this year and given how often iโ€™ve been traveling for work i really want something reusable (even if it means swapping filters) and something that doesnโ€™t cause glasses fog.

thanks!

I've been using a FloMask for about a year after someone on here recommended it and am a huge fan. It's the only mask that fits my face, has a black frame, doesn't fog my glasses, etc. I used it during the all hands and at PAX West and it did great.

I also swap the headbands that come with it from top to bottom so that I can wear them crossed for a firmer fit.

I've been really liking the Flomask. Feels very comfortable - the soft rubber part gives it a great seal while also feeling soft and comfortable on the face. I don't get any glasses fog either. The replaceable filter part makes it easy to keep protection fresh when I need to, and it's got a couple different strengths of filters available.

FloMask is my favorite as well! The newer non-latex headbands are better and last longer than the older ones. I found when I first got one it took some fiddling around to find the exact right position on my face for it but once I got used to it it's been great the last couple years I've had them.

i am also here to recommend flomask lol

if you have long, straight hair or have difficulty keeping the top strap of an n95 in place, i would suggest you get the halo strap, it provides a much more secure placement of the top strap!

condensation can be a problem if you're wearing for hours on end without a real break, but that's really the only complaint i have about it

you may also want to go ahead and order some additional filters if you plan on making it your main mask. the mask itself comes with 5 everyday and 5 pro filters, which if you use as your main mask, depending on how much you use it, you might go through those in a month or two.

oh, and i also don't get glasses fog!

my favorite's been the 3m hf-800 with diaphragm and p100 filters- it gets p100 filtration while being way more audible than 3m's non-diaphragm masks, though your voice is still quieted slightly. still very reliable though

I haven't tried the flomask but have been rocking the 3m Aura for a year or so and really like it! I also feel like I haven't heard many ppl talking about reusing "disposable" masks in a while, but I have a rotating set of paper bags that I store my masks in until they've had ~a week to be out of use and that means they've lasted for a long time!
