everyone come help me celebrate my birthday, i'm adora, it's my birthday
as a collective really like celebrating individual system member birthdays. recognizing autonomy from system body by observing birthdays is super validating! the way we do this varies from member to member.
for example, you could choose a birthday based on your perceived astrological sign. you could use the day that you split off or joined the system! if you're a fictive, you could use canon birthdays or media release anniversaries–today is my canon birthday according to the SPOP twitter account.
having little rituals for system birthdays is super fun. you can buy each other gifts, write each other birthday cards, use some PTO at work, have a fancy dinner or dessert, or spend time doing that system member's favorite activities. i'm going to do the same thing i've done in the past, which is getting myself a nice little dessert and hanging out on voice with the catra i'm dating in one of our partner's systems.
anyway! i'm 27! it's pretty neat!!
