consequence
n.
1. An invented progression of numbers, often made and shared by hobbyist mathematicians.
Some critics chide the "conseq" community for making up consequences, arguing that they could devote their time to making resources for "natural" sequences from OEIS. Indeed, at the time of writing, Duolingo offers a popular course on memorizing Conway's "See-And-Say" consequence, but nothing for Sequence A001622 (the decimal expansion of phi).
