At the book store where I work (technically, the previous one I worked at, before it closed) at the end of a shift one night, I was straightening the shelves and picking up strays and did a double take because a customer had been flipping through this while in one of the chairs and then went to put it back on the shelf, but in Cookbooks under Meat/Poultry/Fish.

in reply to @dog's post:

Okay but the fact that the autobiography of Morissey, who even if you could somehow remove or look past the fascism and the racism would still be one of the most insufferable and obnoxious people on the planet, was published under Penguin Classics is just so embarrassing

Lmao reading more about this, two years before publication Morrissey publicly said he wanted the book to be published by Penguin but ONLY as a Penguin Classic. Then a month before its release the publishing deal temporarily collapsed due to a “content disagreement” between Morrissey and Penguin and it seems like maybe Penguin tried to say no to making it a Penguin Classic and he got angry and tried to go elsewhere. Which, all of that is absolutely classic Morrissey
