For Genesis I'd say Target Earth and Bimini Run are a couple of somewhat obscure games that I love. Not sure that I'd say that Bimini Run is a great game, but... I guess I have fond memories of its badness?
Obscurity is a weird concept in this day and age, when it feels like every single "hidden gem" kind of game has been slapped on YouTube a billion times. Like under normal circumstances I'd say Incredible Crisis on PS1, but it's hard for me to even call that obscure anymore. But then my perspective on all this is ultra-warped at this point.
I will call Incredible Crisis on PS1 obscure, and worth tracking down and playing.
