I have a confession to make: my workplace actually has movies on all the time that I refuse to log on principle because the television is behind the desk I work at, and if I had any interest in reviewing audio dramas I’d listen to Critical Role and have a Reddit account. Even if I generally feel like I get the gist enough to weigh in on a given flick, I still don’t think that would be very fair, to myself or to the movie. Treating movies like they’re little Ferrero Rocher chocolate sweets to be enjoyed at the end of the day by good little girls who finish all their chores on time is how I ended up watching a grand total of two (2) movies this past month, but it’s what keeps me sufficiently well-stocked on childlike wonder, so it all works out in the end, I think.
That being said, maybe I should have reviewed this one when it came on at work. I probably would have been nicer.
