One Piece live action is a constant struggle between "i need this series to go the distance however many seasons it may take" and "i've had enough of this dude". would have been nice if it were just straight-up bad and i could just enjoy some trash. ah well

i am still enjoying the One Piece live action for the most part but the trap beats that start playing whenever Arlong walks in the room is one of the choices of all time. i don't say this lightly but fuck man, it's giving me Bright vibes. stinky

One Piece episode 4 is so fuckin weird lol. why does Usopp do literally nothing in his showcase arc. why does Kuro turn to the camera and explain the point of the episode. why does Zoro spend half an hour stuck in a well. all of these are questions that will never be answered because this show is infuriating

i think Emily Rudd makes for a really good Nami not just because she's a good actor but because she has insane chemistry with every other woman she interacts with to the point where i can't tell if they're actually teasing queer Nami in the show or if she's just like that. that's our Nami alright
