Given how feral reactionaries get over even just average people's verbal pushback these days, I wonder how completely it'll break their minds when,

after a future revolution, they get hit with countermeasures that make historical socialist states' approaches to handling right-wingers look positively libertarian.

They're so smug now. So confident when they accuse us of "policing their thoughts" and "censoring" them. So certain they can get away with anything, as long as they use the right dogwhistles.

They don't yet know that the best outcome for them is being forced to abandon their entire worldview and all their values. They don't yet understand what kind of reckoning awaits them when they inevitably lose. They don't yet realise that, more likely than not, they'll be enthusiastic participants in a better world which is entirely antithetical to their current beliefs.

A lot, of course, will fight to their futile, meaningless deaths. But none of these people comprehend what survival is going to mean for them.
