I've seen lots of cases of people doing the ~truesona~ thing as a strong move into greater self-acceptance, which is awesome and cool as hell! However, I seem to be doing almost the opposite—

By making them basically the me who I am now, they're a thematic contrast to Katja, who's more… …the me who I should be? (On a personality level, at least; I have zero expectation of ever physically being them.)

So Eva might end up being a character who changes with me, but they're mostly me as I am now, and not specifically the good parts of me. Same personality, same demeanour, same hang-ups, so on so forth. Maybe they'll end up converging toward the virtues I know I should carry with me through the world.
