They "fit" in human-scale spaces in a malicious compliance kind of way.
They're "not taller" than most ceilings. They don't really need to contort themself much to fit through double doors. They can even use computer keyboards "just fine", in the same way people with typical hands can type "just fine" on netbooks or horizontally oriented PDAs with keyboards. Heck, they only produce enough heat that they can completely stand in for a furnace, and if it's too much, most ACs should be able to counteract it!
