iPhones and the Switch have proven that small, portable ARM devices can hold up for the better part of a decade no problem at all, so what the hell is Android OEMs' excuse?
(I know that it's mostly on SoC and other component manufacturers not providing adequate drivers, alongside the whole profit motive thing, but someone needs to start bullying component manufacturers into providing at least a decade of updated driver support for anything they sell. Even the cheapest, shittiest little front facing camera modules.)
