As far as I can tell, for all practical purposes at least they haven't changed since the late '00s. Sure, they may have been updated, but good luck actually using them clientside.
SAI/SAI2 has a quality slider and at compression quality 100 it doesn't fry my reds. It's the only way to avoid online sites doing it in conversion instead
That's literally how you avoid Twitter's and it's kind of hilarious that my Bowser Day 2022 piece as a JPG is 0.19MB larger than the PNG, and Twitter is fine with that lol

Only tip I have is Twitter doesn't mangle 400x400 avatars, it even preserves them as PNGs if that's what you upload it as
