The fact that the Transport 2050 plan is basically only seriously considering SkyTrain extensions to UBC (this was being seriously considered before BC Transit's Metro Vancouver operations even got reorganised into TransLink), down King George (we should already have this by now), Willingdon → Hastings → Second Narrows (probably a decade overdue), and 41st/49th Avenues (would probably good to have this… now), is underwhelming, but.

Transit is seriously underfunded here! Sure, better than most of the rest of the continent, other than Cities With Legacy Transit Networks That Weren't Destroyed + Toronto + Montréal, but.

Just compare Metro Vancouver against Glasgow, Warsaw, or Prague, for a few examples.
