Originally, I planned on using this year to fundraise for parts of my transition. Unfortunately, my year started with an eviction, unemployment, and getting my car stolen.

Things have gotten better but I still need help, especially if I want to continue my transition this year. The procedure I need is time sensitive so the sooner I can rectify the car/moving costs, the sooner I can have the procedure done in a timely fashion!

TLDR; I need $$ so I can get a a time sensitive gender affirming procedure done

I think a lot of people won't be free of the whole dynamic of "I need to say things I don't truly believe, lest I be abandoned" until we live in a world where pissing off everyone doesn't entail risk to one's survival? The part of the mind that's thinking about survival isn't always rational.

I guess I say this to say, though, that we should set our sights higher than quantitative improvements to the world, or even just qualitative improvements that fall within current humans' comprehension? We might never get to see a world that's permanently, irrevocably advanced beyond violence and coercion, but we might as well start pushing in that direction for the sake of descendants of ours ten generations down the line.
