seeing california oak trees and snow in the same picture is like looking into the uncanny valley
yeah! yeah! it was like walking into a different reality. as i was driving up to this place, it was all normal rolling green hills and then a mile or so before the parking lot it was suddenly all snowy. Like crossing some sort of threshold into a different world.
