Knitting this sweater has been a labor of love! I’ve learned a lot, tried a ton of new-to-me skills, and spent countless hours plugging away it over the last few months. Knitting always feels like magic to me - a long term transformation coaxing a strand of yarn into a real, wearable piece of clothing. So proud of how this turned out and happy to have it done.
Project details: pattern is the Dressed to Kill Pullover by Erieli Knits (when I started this project in December, this pattern designer was no longer selling their patterns but you could ask for access to those patterns by emailing them proof of donation to a racial justice organization. Now, it looks like their website is down so I don’t know if that is still an option.) EDIT: looks like there still is a way to do that: https://erielipatterns.netlify.app/?fbclid=PAAaZ2FOF9fenbtAhtLl9IgtJGNaAWvx8BvNhTbFEAP18S9obyFyMaWvhA-Zs)
it is knit in knitpicks twill yarn in the color fiddlehead. The outdoor shots are the truest to life in color, the detail shot is less vibrant than it actually is.
