I decided to boot up SkyGunner for the PS2 again and immediately I have two very strong takeaways:

  • Resolution upscaling through emulators can make 3D games of this era look gorgeous. Strongly recommend you give it a shot if you have a newer computer and like the PS2 aesthetic
  • SkyGunner has so much superfluous flavor text. It's in basically every cutscene and I love it.
