i watched whisper of the heart and only yesterday and ye like i really like how they treat nature and environment and everything in their films but it also really hurts cuz theyre always about some misfit in the city longing for the country or magic or something and like i grew up literally in the middle of nowhere and got lunged into the city life v quick and i still havent caught up w it so its like damn ghibli no need to get so personal
