I actually haven't really attended anything here except for Bitsummit. I moved just before the pandemic hit, so I have been a hermit until recently!
in that case i highly recommend checking out tokyo indies if you feel comfortable going to events &c. - it's only recently started up again (because pandemic) but it's in akihabara on the third wednesday of every month & next event is in jan! https://www.tokyoindies.com/
