I am a fan of Romance, and as a fan the genders and sexuality of the characters having Romance don't really matter to me. I read straight shit, I read gay shit, I am literally edward elric I see no difference love is love meme. So whenever people tell me they only read one type of romance (99% of the time this is lesbians saying No Men just because of the circles I run in) I have this moment of ???????. Just not how I think of this stuff at all.

Heteroes - Ima Koi: Now I'm In Love: Girl gets saved by a Boy who looks like a punk but is actually turbo sweet and they start dating. They quickly become the most married high schoolers in the world and it becomes so ridiculous it's funny. Pure fluff, but I always like a Romance that focuses on what happens after the leads get together.

Gay Boys - My Love Mix-Up!: Through a series of wacky misunderstandings, guy accidentally confesses a fake crush on another guy in order to protect a girl's feelings. Guy 2 is like oh, well I'm not gay but I'm gonna take your feelings extremely seriously and treat you with great care and tenderness, bro. Guy 1 is like shit, fuck, am I actually gay???? It's very cute, rare example of the Male Tsundere.

Gay Girls - My Girlfriend's Not Here Today: Two closeted gay girls date one another but they are foolish teens who don't talk about their feelings, so the relationship is distant and strained. Enter a third fucked up closeted girl who sees the situation and is like, I could definitely seduce one of you away from the other. It goes VERY bad for everyone involved. Plus you've probably never read a yuri where a girl menacingly tells another girl, "I know about your alt account."
