(Wrote this drabble while getting a feel for Cyberpunk for an upcoming fic)
Vanessa looked across the table at her colleague, Julian. "You plan to open a Lithium mine?"
Julian nodded. "The research people at Arasaka have identified two conditions in the market that make this feasible. One there is expected to be an increased demand for batteries over the next five years. Thus, there is a need for lithium that desperately needs filling."
"And second?" Vanessa asked.
"That there is a growing employment crisis amongst young pre-adults between the ages of eight and fourteen which is depressing wages in that age bracket," Julian added, popping a noodle into his mouth. "So really we're killing two birds with one stone here."
