Had a good weekend at Quad Con Madison! Business-wise it was just okay - I made enough money to justify going to event, but it wasn't hugely profitable. Part of that was because I discovered too late that my Square credit card reader is no longer supported, which meant that I could only accept cash for the whole weekend. Definitely lost a few sales because of that. T_T
Socially though, I had a lot of fun! All my vendor neighbors were super cool and we had a lot of fun conversations during the slower times. There were some super awesome cosplays on Saturday, and the overall vibe was fun and chill. Load in / load out was super easy too.
In the end, the con was well organized, but I don't think my stuff is the best fit for this specific event. Most of the attendees were looking more for old toys / comics and less for brand new arts / crafts. I don't regret going though, 'cause I still had fun and I learned a lot!
