we need to be able to paste images directly into the post field. that's one thing I'll miss about twitter, along with maybe video, but I understand why that isn't feasible for a site of this size. the roundabout method of adding imagery by having to actually browsing to a file on your computer is charmingly web 1.0, but I can see it getting annoying with time. unless I'm missing something, then expect to see an edit to this post about it.

I'm not sure how it's expected to add multiple images if you don't want to use the side-by-side layout, without having to upload them to a different site and linking them with markdown/html. I found out a way to do it by inserting the images the normal way, then drafting the post, which uploads the images onto the server. then you can copy the image URLs from them from in the draft and format them with md or html and post it
