If you start making one, and decide "Actually doing all of this sucks", you can always just stop half way and try it another way.
Static site generator wants a version of ruby and you have to do 50 steps to set that up? Use a different one. Realize you don't actually want to write a whole markdown template for every page? Go try a CRM!
Almost every path you take will either start with a free trial or, at worst, like $5 a month or whatever. You can always just change paths. Take whatever path works, don't get stuck on one.
