Hi! My name is Alyssa, but in various places on the Internet, I've gone by Kiri. I am a 42-year-old trans lesbian, and a giant nerd. I like to code, write, and play video games. I do suffer from chronic major depression and other mental illnesses, but I'm blessed to have amazing friends and lovers who keep me going.

My video game tastes are pretty eclectic, but I have a few favorite genres. I like RPGs a lot, especially ones where you can make custom characters, and especially ones with reactive worlds and stories. (I am very much a New Vegas transfem, heh.) I like MMOs, too, including some old janky ones. FFXIV is my main one, though I also play on PSO and SWG private servers, and dabble in some others when I feel so inclined. I also really like platformers, and I'm a Sonic fan. And I love love love fighting games, even though I'm not coordinated enough to be much good at them, heh. They just fascinate me. Capcom vs. SNK 2 is my favorite Dreamcast game, which is saying a lot, because I love the Dreamcast.

I've gotten back into making games as a hobby. I used to do it all the time as a teenager, but then depression got in the way, and I haven't finished anything in a long time. I'm determined to rectify that. Dunno if I'll share my games on Cohost or not.

I used to be a political blogger elseweb, but I'm kind of Done with that, for the most part. Too much bad Discourse™; too easy to get swept into it. Fighting my own brain to stay alive is hard enough, anyway.

I am an allosexual, polyamorous lesbian. I have three partners at the moment. I am @girldickwarlock's pet and @wormapotheote's lover, and I have another partner who's not on Cohost. I am potentially open to more. Transfems cute. :3

I am a median system, meaning there are five of me but I usually function as one. The members are Celia (who we're fairly certain is the "original" nerdy personality), Kate (the system protector, and possessor of what little executive function we have), Chelsea (former little, now sees herself as a young adult, ridiculously bubbly), Dave (the second member to emerge and the only non-woman, who fronted when we had to boymode), and Chloe (a new member who we're still getting to know). Again, generally, we just function as Alyssa, but sometimes we'll be more "splitty" and it gets complicated. We'll do our level best to let you know who's speaking at any given time; if we don't give you a specific name, you can assume it's just the full Alyssa talking.

Other random things: I love skirts and dresses, especially floral ones. I like Star Trek. I'm religious, but in a very pro-sex and pro-queer way. I have pretty severe ADHD, so I treasure those of my friends who remind me to eat and take meds. I play piano and guitar (badly). I... guess that's it, lol. :3
