also it seems i can't use the svg for the icon (do svgs get removed from post bodies now? it's been a while since i crimed on here). It'll work to use a non-vector image, I guess.

you have to host the SVG somewhere (for example on the cohost CDN by uploading it as an image and saving a draft) and embed it as an image (and not a DOM tree element), raw SVG inside a post would be a massive security risk, ive XSSed a few big websites that way lol
