how do i put pics under a readmore?
(if i upload a pic, it automatically gets put at the top of the post, and i can't click & drag them. i am on mobile if that matters. i can try on desktop later)

You can't directly upload an image anywhere but the top, currently. You can insert an image somewhere with markdown or html but you'll need to have it uploaded somewhere first. Some people upload an image in a post that they save to drafts to avoid embedding from other sites.
You need to hotlink them from somewhere else and them embed them with markdown in the text body
It was an image that was already on the page while I was writing the reply so it was easy to grab its link
