rewatched star trek ds9 s6e13 "Far Beyond the Stars" with some friends tonight. which is maybe not just one of the best star trek episodes ever but an all time episode of television.
for some fucking reason @sullivan has decided to follow that up by putting on star trek voyager s2e15 "Threshold". an episode that is a crime against humanity and makes my eyes bleed
i was one of the Some Friends here and: that is a motherfucking hell of an episode of television, goddamn
avery brooks deserves a thousand awards
also fuck sullivan for making me watch that trash right afterward. what the hell.
I went to read a synopsis for threshold and...
what????? What the fuck???
The thing that gets me is that Threshold wasn't even Brannon Braga's only ~wacky evolution episode~
He also wrote Genesis, where the TNG crew "de-evolves" into spiders and frogs and monkeys, and Distant Origin where dinosaur society tries to suppress the knowledge that they evolved on Earth
