It’s similar for me, i’m a critter you so don’t really think about my gender, I am not an object, I am a critter and a thing.
our headmate borrowed the description of itself from somewhere as "it/its, in the tone of 'OH GODS! IT'S COMING! IT WILL DESTROY US ALL!'"
Ooh. I have a couple friends who do actually go by it/its in the object sense so I hadn't thought about it that way. Thank you, now I can keep this in mind.
