  • are you a Twitch streamer?
  • do you have an idea about interactive chat toys with your stream you've always wanted to figure out how to do?

Hire me please! ames@koboldinteractive.com

I've built an open source chatbot that does various interactive stuff over here and would love to work with you to build your own stuff if you have any ideas. I am happy to get paid to help you figure out how to hack my own chatbot even, if that's what you want my time for :]

  1. Local only! No server needed.
  2. Yips! Users accrue yips to spend on yipbot over time, can be given them by mods, or gain them from point rewards.
  3. Sings songs! I'm going to rebuild this feature at some point to make it easier to code songs, as well as make it more extensible -- such as adding supporting singers that pop up for background singing, or swapping outfits, etc.
  4. Has an RPG! You can scavenge for gear, fight your fellow chatters, or set traps for them so that if they chat, you get an auto-win against them!
  5. Has a raffle feature! You can accrue raffle entries over time across multiple streams stored locally on your computer.

I'm also planning to do the following:

  1. Avatars! At some point users can merge custom images to the repository, which they can then leverage! This will come with the ability to indicate which Twitch users are allowed to use the skin, so anyone worried about impersonation or unauthorized use of art shouldn't have to worry since any streamers using the assets would be violating my ToS at that point. From there I can do tons of things :]
  2. Add the ability for yipbot to wander the screen, or hide & popup when yipping!
  3. Minigames! Going to add things akin to minesweeper, wordle, and trivia for breaks or as point rewards that can be redeemed.
  4. An actual extensible soundboard system that doesn't require the audio to be uploaded to the source code.
  5. Custom event handlers to replace follow/sub/etc events, & other services that generally require 3rd party servers.

If you want to support the development of this stuff without straight up commissioning me, you can also join my patreon!
