Ive been doing my catpuns typing quirk fur upwards of six years meow, n ive nefur had nyanyone clawmplain abt it to my face. Ive gotten tons of clawmpliments on it in fact!

I really do not understand what creatures find so awful abt the yinglet speech, its barely an alteratnyan compared to the shit i pull on a daily basis, its far from uncommon fur me to just replace fur or five words in a meow with variations of meow, now THATS illegible.

Yinglet speech afai understand it is a single sound consistently getting replaced wizh another sound. Its simple its sweet its cute. If mew rly cant stand it leave zhem be nyobody is making mew look at zheir pawsts but mewrself

hiiii according to the posts that ive seen it appears that A) screenreaders can't read yingletspeak therefore making them inaccessible to blind people B) people with cognitive or processing difficulties struggle to read them C) they require more focus therefore triggering migraines in people with certain conditions. And as for latter 2 you can't always immediately skip the post since at first glance its harder to tell if the post is written in standard english or yinglet speak which makes it more frustrating. sooo its not really about using yingletspeak or not using it, but rather about tagging the posts containing the speak so that people who can't read it can avoid bumping into it ?

All those points are also true of the catspeak. If someone posts in a particular style, unfollow that person if you don't want to see that style.

oh no no i didn't mean for my comment to sound like some sort of psa or a command, it really just depends on whether you plan on doing the speak/typing quirk All The Time or only occassionally for some posts ig. yknow what im just gotta keep out of this discourse
