I like to call my method of storytelling "putting the knife on the table".

I show mew this world, these characters, interesting little bunch of critters. Then I show you how I'm going to fuck with them, play with them, or hurt them. I advertise widely that no matter what, they will be changed by the expurrience they're ameowt to go through. They will never be the same, good or bad. I will let them build up and up and I will keep setting knives on the table while smiling, so mew know that something is coming, and it will only hit that much harder when it does. :3

I'm sure this is just called "foreshadowing" but I like to sound foreboding.

hnnh I love writing sapphic characters.

I absolutely love writing characters falling in love, realizing their feelings whether fast and sudden or slow and building. The different ways that the heart flutters and shifts, perspectives change. Where a word might mean one thing, suddenly it means "I love you", in all the little ways it matters.
