I've been chipping away in my free time from work on other projects at this thing that I find myself caring more and more about as time goes on... I'll talk about it around here more eventually (i want to try and be more active around here in general), but for now, here's the reference sheet I threw together for one of the main characters!
Angel Hernandez is one of the many unfortunate enough to have developed superhuman abilities when puberty hit, a decidedly illegal act of biology she had no say in. Rather than hide part of herself forever, she made the same decision as more than a few others - to moonlight as a so-called Villain, rejecting society's laws and norms under a mask. Or, in her case, wearing her own shadow as The Babbler, one of the members of teenage villain crew The Graveyard Shift.
Every minute of the day, she's beset by her shadow's incessant chatter, which mostly just gives voice to her own self-loathing. But on rare occasions, it mentions something she wouldn't otherwise know, which she can try to get more information about by having a conversation with it... Not that there's good opportunity to talk to herself all that often.
Usually she just tries to drown it out and doodle.
