Do you like mid-90s punk? Is having a bad time, on purpose, your idea of a good time? Are you or have you ever been, gay and woman-adjacent?

Well then (if you're 18 or older) the Crooked Mile, my supplement for Dungeon Bitches, the excellent TTRPG about disaster lesbians and hot monsters (which I had the pleasure of working on) is finally done! Take your shitty van through the final few stops of your tour across the rust belt, scrape together spare change solving people's problems, and fail to escape the icy grip of your past everywhere you turn.

It's got design ideas I'm quite proud of, most notably the Narrator, a meta-character who runs the game from within the fiction, and an approach to mysteries which is predicated on interpersonal relationships and traumas. It's also got a bunch of art that made my hands hurt to make and a lot more poetry than I expected it to have. Give it a shot!

i sure did write a bit over 10,000 words in the past few weeks and checked over another about 10,000 i wrote before. i have, finally, a pretty solid semifinal text draft of The Crooked Mile.

It's about two months later than i wanted to have it done, but i had to crunch so hard on getting various Price of Flight things ready for Indiecade this year that i literally made myself sick. and then had to deal with ants. so, i'm not exactly beating myself up over it

Now to get as much of the art done as i can through the rest of December... pretty hopeful the answer will at least be "most of it", given that i've in recent months re-thought my planned aesthetic direction of the book to lean much harder on abstract painting and sketches, which should make it both more visually interesting imo and easier to finish to boot
