This is a strange yet fascinating FMV game. I first heard of it years ago looking at Wikipedia's list of Atari Jaguar CD games, but never actually played it until recently. It's one of those gimmicky QTE-driven games1, you either like it or you don't.
I ended up pulling through that part most of the way though2 because I think the animation and premise is incredible. It's kinda like if Don Bluth did an episode of Billy & Mandy. The death sequences really make it jarring to fathom how the ESRB looked at this game and said, "yup that's K-A material right there".
Overall I feel this game was an experience worth having for me, even if I ultimately didn't pull through with "intended" gameplay. It reflects my taste in 2D animation/cartoons pretty well. I feel it'd be really cool if it got a modern port with better action cues3, subtitles, and maybe higher-res video depending on how well production material was preserved.

Fun fact: ReadySoft, this game's developer/publisher, did computer ports of Dragon's Lair and Space Ace before this game.

I got through all the pre-final stuff in the PS1 version, but the final elevator didn't seem to trigger (I thought I did all those bosses right, hmm) so I just watched the final bosses with the DOS version's debug menu.

Apparently the delisted iOS port has this, but it's, well, delisted, and I couldn't even snuff out an IPA.
