I just played Super Metroid Arcade for the first time in years. I quite enjoyed it when it was new, and I quite enjoy it now. It might just be my favorite Super Metroid hack honestly. Kind of funny how that's the case when the hack specifically strays away from the Metroid formula.

Also I always enjoy when the custom music tracks play.

Got inspired to make it from the train of thought of "what if I got into romhacking through Earthbound instead of Metroid".

i remember playin it like. a decade ago at this point on an emulator. it was day when i fought giygas cause i got scared easily lmao - i remember taking breaks to check on my dad and chill.

from then i think ive played it multiple more times in different forms n such. more recently i did a friend's (hi @emilydotgif) mod (Paulabound) where the main character is paula, and it was real fun tbh. it was streamed as well if u wanna check it out!
