An artificial city covered in a gray sky, a testament to the catastrophe that ruined the world.
A climate disaster, the planet punishing its inhabitants for its misuse of it, but like with most things the rich and powerful didn’t feel a thing. The colonies both old and new, the exploited and poor were the ones that suffered, and after everything was said and done the old lords came in with the idea of “rebuilding” “starting a new” and trying to “heal” from the tragedies. All a lie for them to try and maintain the control they had.
Artificial cities, human augmentation, research into human evolution, artificial servants, debt slavery, a lot changed since the end but nothing changed for the better as things usually go.
Although the few good things that were left, they are still there.
Humans are funny like that.
I'll let you know how much you mean to me is a piece of interactive fiction about two teens trying to make the best out of a five-day weekend and navigating their own difficult lives.
