I'm stuck in a predicament where the coloring style that I currently devised for Terrible Time technically works, but it's not what my heart is set on. But what my heart is set on will take more work bc it means redrawing the sprites 🙃
I remember seeing someone describe themselves as a "writer that makes vns" and rn an "artist that makes vns" is ringing so true for me rn bc I'm clearly thinking too hard about this! But I like thinking too hard about the coloring/art styles to my vns!
This is what I get for vowing to make my vns look different from one another lol. This is also what I get for not thinking of the artstyle first/in the beginning stages of dev, which is what I typically do but was lost for so long this time around
I'm also realizing I actually had the similar thoughts when doing the art for Wolf's Wool (along the lines of "eh I dont think people will like this art style but at least I like it") and it's currently my post popular vn so lmao you know what maybe I will go with what my heart is set on since it hasnt done me wrong before
