Hi it's me again, it's Steam Next Fest week and I've played all the demos. That's around (exactly) 55! I did start last week, and I had a few Cerebral Showcase ones too, so that helps. Let's get to it though, as usual, sharing the demos I liked. And of course I'll be back later in the next two weeks with even more demos
(Part 2 is here)

First, the other games I've played, not included in this post:
Bytebond, Captain Contraption's Chocolate Factory, Cordbot, Fallen Aces, Lucky Me, Lunars, Memory's Reach, Mind Over Magnet, Mistified, Mythmatch, Odinfall, POGOPPL, Rebots, Road Engineer, Robot Detour, SCHiM, Shards Between Us, Slider, Story of the Lost Dot, The Alters, The Ord Accord, TIME JOURNEY, WHAT THE CAR?, Wizard of Legend 2

GUNCHO

Hoplite but western. Tactical roguelike where every move matters, and managing bullets is your main focus, because they dictates shots direction
Really loved this one, even if some parts were a little confusing still. You only control one character, but turns felt like Into the Breach, where you have to consider every possibility, how enemies will move, what kind of chain reactions will be triggered, etc. You also need to think about the next turn and where you’ll want to shoot, because each turn your barrel will rotate, and you can only shoot in a direction where a bullet is. Does it make any sense in the world of the game? Not really, but it’s fun!
Even the silly deaths that come from nowhere are so extreme that you can’t help but laugh, in a similar style to Spelunky’s. Though here you have a certain amount of rewinds, so if you’re careful you can often get out of a very bad situation and try again.

in reply to @Fachewachewa's post:

I had very similar feelings on Tactical Breach Wizards where I wanted to leave it for later. Metal Slug hit some kind of error for me where it wanted me to... flip a switch in the tutorial mission and I COULD NOT FLIP IT. I got frustrated and didn't return.

Didnt know Golden Idol had a demo out so I'm grabbing that and Pup Champs right now

Actually, I think the switch thing was a point of confusion for me too :'D
I remember struggling to understand how I was supposed to activate it. Like there's the crane but the lever is in another part of the level, except the crane is highlighted to (and way bigger)
