I feel like that thing about not being able to kill fungi in a way that matters also applies to blackberries. They're probably the only plant I can think of to which I ascribe actual malicious intent

Grew up in Virginia but somehow managed to miss that. I mean, the berries are good, but now that I have to do yard maintenance, I'm not sure it outweighs the work :P
Good point. I only ever had a blackberry milkshake from the national park various snack bars at placee at Big Meadows and Elkwallow
Oh man, I've been camping at big meadows. It's been like 25 years but I remember it being really cool.
