A little while ago, I made a platformer game called Sylvie Lime! I think it's a unique game. It has a really open-ended structure and strange movement abilities. Not only that, but there are girls you can talk to.

Here's a video that shows just a few of the strange things that can happen in it.

It's a freeware game you can download. Originally it was only for Windows, but just today I released Mac and Linux versions!

I also submitted it to the IGF: https://igf.com/entry/2023/sylvie-lime

It's my first time ever submitting, so I don't know what will happen. I hope people like the game.

Just bought and finished this in like two sittings. Really liked it, a really creative exploration game that makes you feel exactly the right balance of powerful and skillful.

In the first few minutes I was first frustrated by the difficulty of controlling and the bouncing off walls, and then felt like a boss once I figured out how your lime power works.

Each new power either increases quality of life or gives you new ways to approach all the areas. The game does a thing I absolutely love, where most powers are multi- or general-purpose, and you can use them in a bunch of different ways, of course including allowing you to advance to areas you previously couldn't.

I was not prepared for the heartwarming story with the interactions between the developers. I really felt like I got to know them a little. It was really cool, very open and kind of vulnerable to write for anyone to see.

In a world full of games where only high levels of polish tend to get noticed, it's cool to see games getting made that just have really good ideas. Highly recommended.

And of course the theme song has been stuck in my head from the moment I heard it.
