this is the first song i've made with my launchpad x grid controller, and i've found it to be a more intuitive-to-me way of representing microtonal scales. it's been a lot of fun to use!

cave music is the good shit. i always get excited when a client tells me they need music for a cave area. the laid-back groove and 90's-style shimmer-synths reminded me of this track from Guardian's Crusade (though of course it isn't microtonal): https://youtu.be/wmnTjIBbBSs?feature=shared
oooooh that's really pretty! and ya, some of my favorite things i've written have been cave music. maybe sometime i should try to write something like the mystic cave zone music from sonic 2!
