I was doing worldbuilding and trying to concept designs for my tabletop system I wanna make. I had pretty much all the different peoples planned out but I couldn't think of a good idea for Kobolds. I was worried I'd just make them "Goblins, but Lizardy". Eventually, I settled on an idea, as explained by me:
"Both Dwarves and Kobolds are prone to machinery and science, but the difference is thus. If they're trying to make a soda, a Dwarf will be meticulous, spend days researching the perfect measurements of the ingredients before concocting the perfect drink. Then the Kobold will kick open the door and scream "I MELTED DOWN A BUCKET OF JOLLYRANCHERS!!!"
