i love 'em to death and they don't have to pirate stuff if they don't want to, but also: pirating stuff is great and i endorse it wholeheartedly. you don't even have to do it for principled reasons like digital freedom or whatever. feeling cheap? just pirate it!

there is somewhat of a technical barrier to it unfortunately. less so for movies/tv/music since pirate streaming sites are fairly common (albeit with questionable quality/reliability), but for software or games, you're probably gonna want a torrent client, and those get a bit spooky
