Ordered a few different styles of lapsang from this vendor. As I mentioned in a recent post I've always enjoyed regular commercially available lapsang, but it's fun to try different kinds.

Notes

Strong dried fruit and floral elements along with a little clove? Anise? Something along those lines. It also has a bit of yammyness and reminds me somewhat of a couple of the bug-bitten teas I've tried.

Vendor Copy

Cultivar: Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong

Harvest: Spring 2022

Origin: Ma Su, Tong Mu Village, Wu Yi Shan, Fu Jian

Peachy fragrance, floral, subtle sweet peach after taste, delicate yet full bodied, very smooth mouthfeel and never bitter

This is an unsmoked style Lapsang Souchong tea that has a lovely peach note that stands out both in fragrance and in its liquor. It comes straight from the heart of the core production area Tong Mu Village in Wu Yi Mountain range.
