Entirely factual post title, I am unable to find the existence of this image credible.
Must be credibility masking, where the perception of one's credibility is affected by the presence of this very image.
I think you're right, I'm both struggling to perceive my own credibility and distressed by having to credit my perceptions.
The possibility of having to credit our perceptions is where the true terror lies.
